Hair Stories is a celebration of diversity, telling different hair stories that interconnect, with energy, anger, and joy.

A circus show in development for young people, age 8+, about hair, weaving together stories of identity with fast paced music, aerial, circus skills, and storytelling. In January 2024 we undertook a research & development (R&D) with 5 circus artists, dramaturg, composer, and costume designer. Photos below are from the first R&D in February 2022 where I worked with 3 rope artists and an aerial consultant. In both R&D phases we worked with ED&I Consultant Rachel Gnagniko.
